Conference: Fuel Upgrading & Desulphurization on the spotlight for 5th Asia Refining

Ultra-clean fuels specifications are putting pressure on Asian Refineries to step up their Desulphurization capabilities.

At 5th Asia Refining, we focus on upcoming 'Non-Conventional' technologies being adopted by a key Asian Refiner for efficient fuel desulphurization! IndianOil Technologies' CEO Dr. D.K Tuli will be at the conference sharing on "Non-Conventional Technologies for Fuel Desulphurization."

In his speech, he will touch on:

- Latest Non-conventional technologies to reduce fuel sulphur
- Economic comparison with hydro processing technologies
- Details about progress in Bio-Desulphurization

We have also shifted the spotlight to fuel upgrading at 5th Asia Refining. Due to the increasing use of Heavy Crude in the refining industry, refiners are upgrading residues to remain competitive and deliver targeted output.

At 5th Asia Refining, you will hear from Steven van Wagensveld, General Manager (Technology Services) from Uhde Shedden (Thailand) Ltd. Steven will talk about the "Economics of Upgrading Heavy Residues". The session will touch on a combined conventional coker & gasification unit designed by Udhe. Referencing one such gasification unit already in operation in Spain, Mr. Wagensveld will share key advantages of the design including:

- generates valuable hydrogen and/or power to the refinery
- creates an outlet for refinery coke
- allow co-processing (monetising) of low grade-low cost coal
- allow co-processing of bio-mass (reduce carbon footprint)
- allows lower cost carbon capture & sequestration

Do not miss this opportunity to hear from IndianOil and Udhe Shedden, two industry leaders, on the latest in desulphurization & fuel upgrading at 5th Asia Refining. You should not miss this chance to probe Steven and Dr. Tuli for insights on how these technologies can improve your bottom line.
